L.A. Food (and coffee) Guide

February 23, 2016

Nobu Malibu- Starting off with my favorite L.A. restaurant. I could eat here everyday! We went for dinner but I highly recommend going for lunch when it is light out- it is right on the water. The sushi is great and the people watching is just as good.

Soho House– This is a beautiful rooftop restaurant with an opening roof. The food and cocktails are trendy and really good. Best brussel sprouts!

Gracias Madre- Vegan Mexican with Instagram famous tiles and decor. My favorites were the cauliflower and, of course, the guacamole.

Republique– Good, healthy food with a beautiful interior.

Sugarfish- This might be the sole reason why I love going to LA. I don’t know why, but their sushi is seriously addicting.

The Butcher’s Daughter- This New York favorite recently made its way to Venice and I have to say, I think it’s better than the original! This new location has an expanded menu with a ton of good options- so bummed we only went once! The inside is beautiful too!

Alfred’s Coffee- My fiancĂ© is a serious coffee lover (and is very picky about it ha) so we try coffee shops everywhere. Alfred’s wins with their almond milk cappuccino! Their best locations are Melrose and the Alley but have several others around LA.

Blue Bottle CoffeeThis is my favorite coffee in New York so we had to try the Venice location. It was just as good with cool glass sliding doors to enter through.
